Jennifer Doniach approaches garden design with a focused eye on the natural environment as well as the individual needs of her clients. She believes a successful garden balances the characteristics of the architecture and landscape while honoring the client’s intended use for the space. A beautiful garden is also a functional garden and one that can serve as an extension of the home – a calming refuge, a place for gathering with friends and family and a reflection of natural beauty.
A California native, Jennifer has designed and maintained gardens throughout the Bay Area for more than 20 years. She started her career in specialty maintenance, an experience that’s given her a deep insight into how a design will mature over seasons and years. As a full-time designer today, she now enjoys working with the client from the outset to discover their needs in combination with the environment’s innate characteristics. Jennifer studied landscape design from Foothill College and UC Berkeley Extension.
